Terms of Use

These terms govern reaper.io and software made available by Samuel Elgozi, operating as Reaper ("Reaper", "we", or "us"). By downloading or using a Reaper product, you agree to these terms.

Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information and keep your account secure. Authentication does not grant access to every product. Reaper evaluation access requires an invitation and may be revoked.

Software license

A one-time purchase licenses one person to install and use Monitor on up to three of their personal Macs at a time, for personal or professional purposes. The license may not be shared. Businesses need one license per person. You may replace a device by uninstalling Monitor from it before installing on another. The license is non-exclusive and non-transferable. A paid license does not expire unless terminated as described below.

The device limit applies even when it is not technically enforced. We may introduce activation checks to enforce the applicable limit.

Usage is currently licensed at no charge for personal or professional use on your personal and work Macs, with no device limit. The license is non-exclusive and non-transferable. This does not promise that future versions will remain free.

Reaper is available for evaluation by invitation only and is not for sale. Its license lasts only while your evaluation access is active. You may not redistribute, sell, sublicense, or bypass access controls for any Reaper product. These restrictions do not apply where applicable law does not allow them.

Purchases, delivery, and updates

Monitor offers one full-featured, seven-day trial per Reaper account. The trial starts automatically after you sign in inside Monitor if you have no existing access and have not used a trial. It runs for seven consecutive days. Downloading or signing in on the website does not start it. Reinstalling or signing out does not restart or extend it. No payment card is required, and the trial does not renew or charge you automatically. After the trial ends, you need a purchase or another valid access grant to continue using Monitor. Your settings remain on your Mac.

Creem sells paid products as our Merchant of Record and handles payments, receipts, and applicable tax. Reaper licenses, delivers, and supports the software. Purchases are also governed by the Creem Buyer Terms, which take precedence if these terms conflict about a Creem purchase. Prices and included rights shown before checkout are part of these terms.

Monitor purchases require a Reaper account. The installer is available before purchase; downloading it does not grant a license. After payment is confirmed, sign in with the purchasing account in Monitor to unlock it. An internet connection is required to sign in, start a trial, and periodically renew authorization. Monitor can work offline for up to seven days after authorization, but not beyond the end of time-limited access.

Monitor. All updates through version 1.x are included. A later major upgrade may be sold separately. You can keep using the major version you purchased if you decline an optional upgrade.

Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. Approved refunds are processed through Creem. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

Lawful use

Use Reaper products only on systems, processes, and network traffic that you own, control, or are authorized to inspect. Do not use the products for covert monitoring, unauthorized interception, spyware, unlawful access, or to interfere with another person or infringe another person's rights.

Early-access software

Early-access products may be incomplete, unstable, or changed without notice. Features, compatibility, availability, and access rules may change before a commercial release.

Community content and feedback

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Reaper permission to host, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate the community. You may provide feedback voluntarily. Reaper may use that feedback without restriction or payment.

Ownership

Reaper and its licensors retain all rights in the website, products, branding, and documentation except for rights expressly granted in these terms. Third-party product and service names belong to their respective owners. Referencing a compatible service does not imply that its provider endorses or sponsors Reaper.

Disclaimer and liability

The website and products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Reaper is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue, or profits. Mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.

Suspension and termination

Reaper may suspend or close your account if you violate these terms, create a security risk, or misuse a product. Account suspension or closure does not by itself terminate a paid software license. A paid license may be terminated for a material breach of its terms or when the corresponding purchase is fully refunded or reversed. Reaper's evaluation license ends when your invitation is revoked or your evaluation period ends.

Changes

We may update these terms as the products change. We will publish the new date on this page. Material changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.

Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. You keep any consumer rights that the law where you live does not allow these Terms to limit. Send questions to support@reaper.io.
